Since I got here to the U.S, I have done many changes in my culture. Pop culture influenes me in many ways. It is hard not to be influened by it because it is all around us. Since I took this class, I started to be aware of things that I didn't before.  For example in my culture I celebrated the day of the dead and now I celebrate halloween. It is amazing how you could change without noticing. I noticed that here in the U.S, people eat at their desk. I tought that it was wrong and unclean but now you will will see me eating at my desk when I'am doing homework.I tought fast food was horrible and it had to many claories and now you see me at Mc'Donalds or Wendys.

My poster represents my culture. I put an image of the Virgen because she is very important in Mexico. I also out an image of Frida Kahlo because she is a very famous artist in my country and also around the world.There is also another image of El Grito de Dolores. This image is very important because this is when Mexico became a independent country. This poster represents Mexico and its traditions. like the day of the dead which is like halloween this event is very important in our country.

Do I Look Like Public Enemy Number One?

This reading was very interesting and fun to read. I love this reading. It made me think of a lot of things. Like for example how we all stereotype with ot really knowing. I fone individual did somthing bad we then start to think that all his family is like that. It made me think how stereotyping is bad. How by doing that we can hurt other people or make their life hard.I really like this reading and it helped me understand how stereotyping can make someones life hard.

My favorite type of music is pop, R&B. I like these types of genre because they are fun to listen and have a really good rithym. My favorite artist is Beyonce or Enrique Iglesias they have good songs and they are know worldwide. For Betonce my favorie song is Love on top. I t has a lot of rithym and its fun to listen to. This song makes me happy when I'am feeling sad. For Enrique Iglesias my favorite song is "Hero". I also like the rithym and its a very nice song.
